About Me
I grew up in and around dentistry.
Most people discover dentistry later in life - for me, it was simply the environment I grew up in. My father built our family clinic and from an early age I found myself surrounded by dental equipment, conversations about clinical cases and the quiet discipline that good clinical care requires. Today I run Bullsmoor Dental & Aesthetics Clinic alongside my father, continuing that same commitment to careful, thoughtful dentistry.
I have now been in dentistry for over 15 years, working as a Dental Therapist for the past 9 years. I practise dentistry to the full extent of my scope as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist, with a particular interest in treating and guiding patients with periodontal disease, delivering aesthetic composite restorations and providing teeth whitening and composite bonding.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Periodontics and have been practising Facial Aesthetics for over 6 years. I have undertaken advanced training in Facial Aesthetics and am currently enrolled on a Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectables. In 2025, I was honoured to be awarded Dental Therapist of the Year (South).
My approach to both dentistry and aesthetics is centred on careful planning and subtle, minimally invasive enhancements that respect each patient’s natural features.

Why Learn With Me
Rather than memorising fixed settings, delegates learn how and why images look the way they do.

Simple and focused
No unnecessary complexity — just a clear understanding of light and how the exposure triangle influences your final image.

Taught by a practising clinician
I use dental photography every single day in both dentistry and aesthetics. My teaching is grounded in real clinical experience.

Understand your camera
Learn how aperture, shutter speed and ISO interact so you can adapt confidently in any clinical situation — not just follow a cheat sheet.
Testimonials
The in-depth photography workshop was a great course with lots of novel content. As someone who's been taking photos for a while, I still had many takeaways from the course which I could implement the next day.

I first picked up a camera as a teenager, initially exploring travel and landscape
photography. While studying, that interest developed further and I began undertaking corporate and event photography alongside my studies. Over time, photography naturally transitioned into my clinical career and today, photography forms an integral part of my workflow.
Photography allows me to document my work carefully, reflect on and critique my outcomes and communicate more clearly with patients. When patients can see what we see clinically, conversations become easier, treatment acceptance improves and patients remain more engaged throughout their care journey.
Consistent clinical photography also naturally raises standards within a practice. It encourages clinicians to observe their work more closely, analyse outcomes and continually refine their techniques.
This is also why I am passionate about teaching dental photography. I enjoy helping clinicians understand their cameras, gain confidence with manual mode and develop a consistent, repeatable approach to documenting their work.
"I have developed a simple way of teaching photography that focuses on understanding light, exposure and positioning — helping clinicians move away from memorised settings and instead, confidently control their results."
